Naveen Tewari
Founder, CEO
Naveen is the Chief Executive Officer, Founder and the man in charge of it all. He has been responsible for the overall vision, strategy and execution of InMobi. His view of the growth of the mobile ecosystem and leveraging InMobi as a key tenet in developing that mobile ecosystem was the foundation stone on which InMobi was built.
Naveen’s journey started with McKinsey & Company where he worked on developing the go-to-market strategy for a large Indian conglomerate, as it entered the telecom sector. He has also worked with the top management of technology companies on various issues. Later, he joined Charles River Ventures (CRV), a top tier VC firm focusing on early stage investing in software and communications. Naveen worked with CRV on developing its India investment strategy. He also worked briefly with a mobile VoIP startup in Silicon Valley.
Naveen is the Founder and Chairman of a US based non-profit organization, India School Fund (ISF), which has been formed to set up schools in rural India. ISF started in 2006 with only a few Harvard Business School friends and has now grown to have over 50 people across India and US.
Naveen obtained his Bachelors degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT) and has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School (HBS). At HBS, Naveen was the recipient of the “Dean’s Award”, the highest honor for his exceptional leadership and contribution.

Abhay Singhal
Co-founder, VP of Global Ad Sales
Abhay co-founded InMobi and has been serving as the Head of Global Ad Sales since the company’s inception. Abhay has been instrumental in building InMobi into a global mobile advertising network and has contributed greatly towards the company’s success and growth over the past years. He is responsible for sales development as well as developing global revenue strategies.
Abhay displayed his entrepreneurial streak in his undergraduate years itself by co-founding a company, TeN, and raising VC money shortly thereafter. He was the Head of Sales at TeN and the company’s revenue grew significantly under him.
Abhay completed his undergraduate studies from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT). The urge to build a company of a global scale is what prompted Abhay to co-found InMobi. Abhay follows a very simple mantra: the very essence of leadership is that you have to have a vision and also what it takes to translate it into action.

Amit K. Gupta
Co-founder, VP of Global Business Development
Amit co-founded InMobi and has been the Head of Global Business Development since the beginning.He spearheads InMobi’s growth efforts by focusing on strategic alliances as well as managing publisher relationships. He has also played a key role in developing the company’s business strategies and entry into various geographies.
Prior to InMobi, Amit founded Analyticsworks, a company focused on business intelligence and which he brought to profitability before starting InMobi. Amit has also worked in a Bay area startup, Andale, where he successfully contributed in developing the business strategies and processes of the startup. He worked directly with the CEO to help initiate new areas of revenues for the company. Amit also gained deep insight about how to leverage technology to enable business during his early professional years.
Amit completed his undergraduate studies from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT). Amit loves explaining any complicated topic to a novice by articulating relevant real life examples. The growing usage of mobile phones in the developing markets inspired Amit to co-found InMobi. Amit aspires for InMobi to be one of the globally successful internet product companies emerging out of India.

Mohit Saxena
VP of Technology
Mohit is the Technology Founder and has been serving as the Head of Technology at InMobi since the beginning. He is responsible for InMobi’s technology development, including infrastructure, application management and IT.
Prior to joining InMobi, Mohit was based out of San Francisco and managed the technology operations at Virgin Mobile, world’s largest mobile virtual network operator (MVNO). At Virgin Mobile, he was instrumental in designing and deploying post-paid billing system and revenue recognition system on a pre-paid platform. This helped significantly to make Virgin Mobile the largest and the most successful MVNO in the US. Mohit has also worked at AT&T and is a part of several patents filed in the telecommunication area.
Mohit completed his undergraduate studies from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT). He has an eye towards innovation and simplicity and is passionate about technology and its possibilities. Mohit was always fascinated by tales of people with small ideas turning them into global powerhouses and always dreamed of being the part of such an endeavor himself. So when opportunity knocked at his door to be the Technology Founder of InMobi, he jumped at it. It is Mohit’s belief that strong discipline and desire to be at the top of the world will one day make InMobi one of the biggest and the smartest companies.

Sridhar Ranganathan
VP of Product Management
Sridhar heads the Product efforts at InMobi since 2008 and brings with himself extensive experience in high technology product management. He is responsible for the vision, strategy and design of InMobi’s products and also oversees the architecting of the company’s service strategies. Through his business acumen and determination, Sridhar has been steering the company to constantly innovate as a mobile advertising space and knows how to leverage market opportunities in economies good and bad.
Prior to InMobi, Sridhar headed the Local and Maps businesses at Yahoo! India and has successfully launched consumer internet products in India. Sridhar came to Yahoo! from Zoho Corp (previously AdventNet) where he built and managed many products in the network management space.
Armed with a Naval Architecture degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, Sridhar started his career in ship management with Essar Shipping before moving onto Brij Datalink, a software services startup. Early in 2001, around the time the internet bubble burst, he joined AdventNet where he plunged headlong into product management. Sridhar holds a management degree from XLRI, Jamshedpur. Over time he’s learnt and lives by one rule: know why you are doing what you are doing - focus on doing a great job and the rest will automatically follow.

Sharat Khurana
VP of Finance
Sharat is the Head of Finance at InMobi. He joined the company in 2008.
Sharat is responsible for financial management of InMobi’s global operations. His responsibilities range from budgeting to investor relations to business and investment analysis. He also drives InMobi’s global communications and marketing communication efforts.
Sharat has held a variety of roles which have encompassed all aspects of strategy, operations and corporate finance and given him well rounded skills that help set the direction for finance at InMobi. In his past he has been with Capital One, a leading US bank where he was responsible for portfolio strategy of their $35 billion prime and super prime credit card portfolio. He also worked with Travelocity.com and its parent Sabre Holdings for 6 years where he held several finance and strategy roles including CFO of their Operations, Product Development and Marketing.
Sharat holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Bangalore University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University, Dallas.

Anne Frisbie
VP & Managing Director, North America
Anne joined InMobi in 2008 as Head of North America. She most recently served as Vice President of Category and Sales Intelligence at Yahoo! where she worked from 2003 to 2008. At Yahoo, she was charged with managing Yahoo’s most important categories that accounted for a majority of the company’s revenue. She and her team provided leading branded advertisers and top-tier agencies, strategic insights and digital media solutions. Anne has been working in the digital media industry for the past eleven years. She helped found an online shopping service in 1996 that was ultimately funded by CMP Media, and then she focused on local search in 1997 at Zip2 Corporation where she served as a Director of Publisher Development. Zip2 was acquired by AltaVista in 1998. Anne worked at AltaVista as a Director of Strategic Alliances, and then later ran sales and business development for the company until it was sold to Overture in early 2003.
Prior to her work in digital media, Anne was an investment analyst at Goldman Sachs. Anne holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Georgetown University. Anne is a thorough professional and believes that good management is the art of making problems so interesting and their solutions so constructive that everyone wants to get to work and deal with them. She is an avid wine collector, loves playing duplicate Bridge and is the proud mother of three children. Anne was drawn to InMobi because of the talented management team combined with the attraction of helping to build the mobile ecosystem from the ground up in countries where mobile is not only a first screen but a truly passionate and personal device.

Emmanuel Allix
VP & Managing Director, Asia Pacific
Emmanuel heads the Asia Pacific efforts for InMobi and oversees the entire operations of InMobi in the region. He joined InMobi from Pudding Media where he worked as the Managing Director and was responsible for the operations and business in Asia Pacific. Emmanuel has also worked for GroupM Interaction (a WPP media investment company) where he was their Regional Technology Development Director.
Emmanuel was an APAC MMA Board Member in 2008 and is a regular speaker at various events including CommunicAsia, Media360, AdTech, IMMAP and MMC.
Prior to joining GroupM, Emmanuel has spent more than 19 years in the IT and Internet arenas across Asia and Europe. He founded and run one of the first Internet Website development startups in France back in 1996, creating and launching several Websites and online activities for major French companies. He also led KPMG Consulting France E-Commerce Strategy group for two years. In 2001, he joined Singapore Airlines to head their E-Commerce initiatives for nearly 6 years.

Rob Jonas
VP & Managing Director, Europe
Rob joined InMobi in December 2009 as Head of Europe, with overall responsibility for building the business in Western and Eastern Europe. He brings deep experience of launching, building and scaling digital advertising businesses in Europe.
Rob joins InMobi from Google, where he was Director of Strategic Partnerships for Europe, Middle East and Africa, with responsibility for some of Google’s largest commercial relationships in the region. Prior to Google, he was part of Yahoo! Europe, having joined through the acquisition of Overture Europe (formerly GoTo.com), which was acquired by Yahoo! in October 2003 for $1.6 billion. As an early employee of Overture Europe he was a key member of the European management team, contributing to the growth of the paid search industry in more than 13 markets in Europe over 2 years. Before Overture, he was an Executive Producer and founding team member of the European office of Bill Gross’ idealab!, which facilitated both US companies’ entry in Europe and executed local investments. Rob is a graduate of Oxford University in the UK and started his career in systems engineering and consulting at IBM Global Services in Europe and the US.
Rob was attracted to InMobi by the phenomenal talent and success of the existing team, combined with their desire to build a truly global business in the fastest growing digital sector of the next decade.

Hidetaka Tembata (”Terry”)
VP & Managing Director, Japan
Terry joined InMobi in April 2010 as Head of Japan with full responsibility for building the business and further accelerating our international growth. Terry joins with 10 years of digital media experience including a deep track record in general management, business development, sales, marketing and mobile business/advertisement in Japan.
Terry joins InMobi from Yahoo! Japan where he was VP, Managing Director of the region, with responsibility for advertising services partnerships primarily, but also other critical services such as CPA affiliates, payment API and toolbar. Prior to Yahoo!, Terry was Chief Media Officer of Overture Japan, which was acquired by Yahoo! Japan in 2008. During his tenure at Overture, Terry grew his division from zero revenue to nearly $US 400 million in 4 years. Terry has also worked for Microsoft, AOL, and NTT DoCoMo.
Terry holds a Bachelor Degree in Precise Machinery Engineering from University of Tokyo and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

James M. Lamberti
VP of Global Research & Marketing
James joined InMobi in January of 2010 as head of global research and marketing. As a 20-year veteran of research, analytics, and digital marketing, James will help drive InMobi’s product and brand position as a global, independent thought leader focusing on performance oriented analytics and research.
Before joining InMobi, James honed his professional skills with Topspin, comScore, Tickets.com, The Clorox Company, and Information Resources learning all facets of marketing research, marketing, product development, and data analytics. In his recent position as Senior Vice President with comScore, James spent 7 years leading the development of the firm’s qSearch™, Video Metrix™ and Ad Effectiveness capabilities into industry leading data and analytics tool widely used by hundreds of clients around the globe.
James is now regarded as one of the industries authorities on digital marketing broadly and has been quoted by leading US and UK news organizations such as the LA Times, San Francisco Chronicle, San Jose Mercury News, NPR, BBC, and Wall Street Journal to name a few.

Stephen Newton
VP & Managing Director, Africa
Stephen Newton is an accomplished business leader who has spent over a decade working in the digital media space, where he has been responsible for successfully and profitably growing and leading top global online companies
Most recently, Stephen was Head of Google South Africa, launching local versions of Google Maps & StreetView, and YouTube. During his tenure at Google, he served in a variety of critical pan-African roles including Head of Analytics & Commerce EMEA, where he was responsible for the Google Analytics product (GA) and growing the third party GA proposition. Stephen also served as the Vice President of DoubleClick’s Ad Exchange Covering the Europe, Middle East and African markets (EMEA) post the Google acquisition of DoubleClick,
Stephen also has a strong research and analytics background. As General Manager and part of the founding team of Hitwise UK, he helped the organisation more than double its employees, customers and revenues, and consistently over-achieved company revenue targets in one of the group’s most profitable division. Stephen’s efforts were also pivotal in the eventual sell of Hitwise, to the consumer information company Experian.
It is his ability to effectively manage sales, marketing, operational and account management teams and to motivate them to deliver in a way that meets board expectations that has led Stephen to his current position as Vice President and Managing Director of InMobi Africa.
A strong leader with excellent communication, inter-personal and negotiation skills, Stephen brings a wealth of sales and business expertise to the table. As a qualified lawyer, he also has substantial legal expertise. His skill set is topped off by broad international exposure gained from working in the US, UK and Europe, Middle East and African markets, all of which gives him a valuable and unique perspective, making him a key asset to any company.
A native of Philadelphia, Stephen received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and his JD from Loyola School of Law in Los Angeles. He speaks conversational Spanish, functional French and is currently learning Portuguese.
