Opting Out of Interest-based Advertising

Users can opt-out of interest-based ads by visiting AdChoices.

Based on the app/web pages you visit or your interactions with ads, InMobi infers your interests and serves ads relevant to you. For example, if you visit sports apps often, it is likely that you will see more ads for sporting goods/services served to you.

InMobi does not know who you are, or what your name is. InMobi shall continue to comply with the provisions of its Privacy Policy for any data received. Please see specific opt-out processes below; if you exercise such opt-out options, it is likely that you will get irrelevant ads that are not tailored to your interest and are therefore less relevant to you.

Opt Out of Interest-based Advertising On Your Device

You can choose to opt-out of interest based ads within your device itself.

Mobile App Opt-Out

If you opt-out of interest-based ads on your mobile device, your advertising ID will not be used to build profiles or target you with interest-based ads. To opt-out of personalized in-app advertising: on your device, visit your device Operating System (OS) Privacy Settings. For iOS, locate the Advertising option and then enable Limit ad tracking. For Android, within Settings, enable the slider for Opt out of Ads Personalization. Please note that this opt-out is specific to the mobile device on which you exercise this feature, therefore, you will continue to receive interest based ads on your other devices.

Mobile Web Opt-Out

If you intend to opt out of behaviorally targeted advertising on your mobile web, please exercise opt-out facility through your web browser settings.

Connected TV Opt-Out

If you opt-out of interest-based ads on your connected TV device, your advertising ID will not be used to build profiles or target you with interest-based ads and it is likely that you will get irrelevant ads which are not tailored to your interest and are therefore less relevant to you. To disable interest-based ads, please use the Opt-Out on your Connected TV device as shown below.

On your device, visit Operating System (OS) Privacy Settings. Select Limit Ad Tracking (for iOS/tvOS devices), Opt-out of Interest-Based Ads (for Android devices), Limit Ad Tracking (for Roku devices), or similar setting offered by your OS, which will allow you to limit our use of information collected from or about your mobile device for any interested based advertising. Please go through your device manufacturer’s privacy policy for more information. Please also see the opt-out options provided by your application developers.

Opting Out of Interest-based Advertising via InMobi

When you choose to opt out of the use of data by InMobi for interest-based advertising, InMobi will not place ads based on your interests across its advertising network. However, you will continue to receive ads that are not based on your interests. You may also receive ads on other devices or prospectively in cases where your advertising id is obtained by InMobi from a fresh source.

In addition to the above, InMobi shall continue to comply with the provisions of its Privacy Policy for any data received.
