Dr. Subi plays an integral role in driving the corporate vision, strategy and execution for InMobi and all its subsidiaries at a global level. She holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Delhi), she was awarded gold medals for being a university topper in her Master’s in Mass Communication and in  Anthropology and Psychology in Bachelor’s degree program.

With over two decades of industry experience, Dr. Subi is a distinguished expert in strategic advisory, public policy, advocacy, corporate affairs, communications, government affairs and deepening democracy. She has contributed to sectors including digital economy, banking, telecom, media, startups, and sustainability. Her leadership roles have spanned across governments, multinational corporations, international organizations, and multilateral institutions. 

She has assisted bilateral negotiations between sovereign nations culminating in MoUs in the areas of ICT, financial, digital and health services worth over $100 mn. 

She’s a respected voice and well recognised leader in global internet governance, has represented India globally and has also served as a member of the United Nations Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG), appointed by the former UN Secretary General on Internet governance. During her 3 year tenure, she was not only the first Indian to represent two stakeholder groups, but also ran over 17 main sessions on the role of global governments in netgov, multistakeholderism, access, bringing the next billion online, and best practices for CERTs. 

Recently she led the formation of the first ever Global Framework on Integrity, Security and Trust (FIST) which aims to bring together diverse stakeholders from governments, civil society, academia, industry and media to co-create solutions and best practices for the common challenges and opportunities of the digital era with a special focus on critical and emerging technologies, AI, developing countries, emerging economies and the global South.
